For much of my life, I struggled with my identity and purpose in life. I did not know where to turn or what I was meant to achieve in my lifetime. I spent the first part of my life keeping my struggles to myself, sharing them with nobody. In time, I learned to open up and voice my challenges, setbacks and experiences with others. Not only did I share the good parts of my life, but I also shared the worst.
The response I got blew my mind. Plenty of people took the time to listen to what I had to say, but that’s only half of the story. I was stunned to discover the number of people who shared the experiences I had over the years. This process allowed me to discover my strengths, not just my weaknesses.
After hearing my story, many people gave me the push I needed to move forward and achieve great things. The inspiration I got motivated me to publish my first book, Beyond Beauty. This book revealed my entire story to the world. This revelation empowered me more than I once thought possible, proving that nothing could stop me from reaching my dreams as long as I kept my eye on the prize.
The inspiration I got also motivated me to give back to the world, and that is how I found my niche in life. As the days go by, I use ByFERIAL academy and the Empower Group to connect with as many of you as possible. Finding my purpose in life makes me happy and gives me fulfillment, and my No. 1 goal is to inspire others the way you once inspired me.
I aim to help others find their purpose in life and to gain the courage to reach for their dreams. I can take you by the hand and show you what steps to take, but only you can embark on the journey. As I say in my book, “I can educate you, show you, and tell you that you are beautiful, but you have to believe it, and keep that belief alive in everything that you do.
