Sally Fouad

She is a nutritionist and television presenter who began presenting programs in 2010 on several satellite channels. She obtained a German high school diploma and then enrolled in the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University, majoring in German Literature. She later earned a nutritionist certificate from Germany. During her studies, she received a scholarship to Germany for a month to study simultaneous interpretation. After graduating, she worked for several international organizations and companies. She currently presents the program “Safra Sally” on Panorama Food.

She is a nutritionist and TV presenter. She started her career in presenting programs on many satellite channels in 2010. She obtained her German high school diploma and then enrolled in the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University, in the German Literature Department. During her studies, she was granted a scholarship in Germany for a month to study simultaneous translation. After her graduation, she worked in several multinational companies then studied Nutrition in Germany and now became the presenter of “Sofret Sally” on Panorama Food channel.

I moved with my father (the late Dr. Esmat Abbas Fouad, musician, double bass player, and conductor of the Cairo Heritage Ensemble, may God have mercy on him, and my mother, Fatima El-Messiri, director of the Ballet Institute) to Cologne, Germany. Then I returned to Egypt and enrolled in the German School in Bab El-Louq. At school, I became known for my love of drawing in general and portraits in particular, as I used to sell my paintings as an additional source of income at that time. I won the prize for best painting among all schools in Egypt in a competition organized by the German Embassy in Egypt.

 I obtained my German high school diploma and then enrolled in the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University, majoring in German Literature. During my studies, I received a scholarship to Germany for a month to study simultaneous interpretation at Johannesberg University in Germersheim. During my studies and after graduation, I worked for several international organizations and companies, such as the German Chamber of Commerce, Siemens, and IBM.
