The Pure Summer Swatch

Pure Summers find us thinking of a glorious summer landscape in the forest where cool colors dominate the scene. Pastels and soft shades of pinks, blues, mauves, and greens are found in the meadows offering bouquets in midday. Ash browns dance between the bouquets and rocks that scatter along the rivers. Soft blue undertones abound. Pure Summers can wear any shade of cool beige, from the lightest beige to a deep rose brown. They can also wear many shades of blue and gray: from the most delicate powder blue to navy, from the lightest gray to the darkest charcoal.

Pure Summers have a soft and cool appearance. Very dark colors are too harsh, and light colors may leave you looking washed out. You look your best when you wear colors of medium intensity, though you can wear more intense colors if you keep them away from your face.
