How To Declutter and Organize Your Wardrobe – Part 3 ?
Step Three: Putting Everything Back
You have organized your wardrobe and gotten rid of items you no longer need, so the worst part of the battle is over. You are now ready to take all your clothes and put them in your closet based on the categories you chose in the first step.?
The way you organize your items during this part of the process depends on the size of your closet and the number of things you wish to store. You should at least divide your clothes based on formal and informal occasions, but you can take it a step further and separate each section into clothes you wear in different seasons.?
Use Dividers
You might think that putting everything away in different sections of your closet is enough to help you reach your goal. You have a little more work if you want to do the job right the first time, but it’s not that hard. Instead of just trying to remember where different parts of your wardrobe belong, label them. Placing labeled dividers in your closet to separate your clothes is a powerful step that moves you closer to the outcome you need and deserve. Ensure the labels are easy to read at a glance so that you can find the clothes you need without much trouble.?
Make a Section for Tomorrow’s Clothes
You can take your results even further by creating another section for the clothes you plan to wear tomorrow. People sometimes wait until the last minute to get ready for events or special occasions, and they risk not finding the clothes they want to wear as a result. Avoiding that trap is not hard when you have a plan in place and put in the effort to prepare.?
If you have an event coming up on your schedule, you must decide what you will wear and make sure your outfit is ready to go. Leave your clothes, shoes and even perfume in the front of your closet for easy access, and you will be pleased when you discover how much time you can save. You will be ready to leave at a moment’s notice and won’t need to worry about running into wardrobe problems along the way. Getting into this habit is a smart way to improve your odds of being on time and looking great no matter the occasion.?
