Demi-Lee is from Scotland and lives with her husband and two children.

She has worked with women online from all over the world who struggle with body confidence, self-confidence and self-esteem due to stretch marks, scars and abuse.

Demi-Lee has worked in many different sectors from the age of 15, from clothing to nursery practitioner and management and her main goal has always been the same – helping women to walk in their own shoes.

She went on to write multi-genre books. Her radio show also made an impact as she helped people write their own stories by providing tips and advice, including doing author interviews.

In her spare time, she writes, goes for long walks, bakes and loves anything to do with the Victorian era.

Her life took a turn in 2002 but she managed to rebuild her life from scratch after leaving her abuser and becoming a single mum a couple of months after. Her confidence and identity felt non-existent as she went through life covering up her stretch marks and wearing what others wanted her to wear. She didn’t feel like herself and knew something needed to change.

During her pregnancy, she went from a size 8-22 in the space of a few months so there was nothing she could do. She tried all the creams, moisturisers and advice given to her but nothing worked. Her skin was stretched too much that she couldn’t repair it and this really impacted her confidence.

In 2017 she made a change, she vowed to wear what she wanted and not care what others thought about it. After her training Style By Demi-Lee was born in 2022 and she has worked with women online from all over the world.

Demi-Lee says that by changing the conversation in our heads, we change the conversation for the next generation. Having a teenage daughter herself, the importance of how you speak to yourself and how much confidence you have is so important.

I help women walk in their own shoes so they can walk through every door that opens for them by rebuilding their self-confidence and self-esteem through fashion. I help rebuild their unique styles from their existing wardrobe/ personal shopping or in-person so they can regain their identity and start living their best life.

Fashion isn’t going to change the world, but the women who wear the fashion will.

Demi-Lee moved to her new home this year with her husband and two children and is looking forward to the future.
