EDUCATION

Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership and Conflict Resolution from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Masters in Situational Leadership with a Bachelors in Communication-Mass Media, from the same university. She has achieved the title of Erudite Professor, Justice of the Peace (JP), Chaplin and UN Peace Ambassador, a Certified Florida Supreme Circuit Court Family Mediator, Certified Meditation Trainer, Certified and Accredited with the ANSI/IACET (the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training), and the AICI (Association of Image Consultants International).

Dr. Cheryl White is an accomplished Entrepreneur and Senior Executive with more than 25 years of experience providing strategic and operational consultancy services, coaching and life skills, conflict resolution, and nonprofit leadership. Leveraging extensive experience across numerous industries – including healthcare, insurance, and hospitality. Cheryl is an invaluable asset to companies looking to tap into her extensive expertise in the areas of crisis management, human capital issues, conflict resolution, cultural diversity, and leadership development, as well as her exceptional abilities to analyze and identify procedural problems, provide practical solutions that result in greater effectiveness and productivity, as well as cost-saving benefits.

Throughout her career, Dr. White has held many critical leadership positions. Presently, she serves as Founder, and Executive Director/CEO at Family In Distress, Inc., where she is actively engaged with the organization’s board members, volunteers and committees. In addition, she is the Founder and CEO for Allure, Image Health & Wellness and Conflict Coaches. Dr. White concurrently serves as President at Conflict Coaches and Growth Strategies for Life Academy (GSFLA), where she uses imagery and communication as primary tools for exploration and conflict resolution to strategically assist individuals, families, and organizations to find their own truths, answers, and inner resources to maximize their potential. She is Vice-President of CID-UNESCO Hallandale and previously, Cheryl acted as Chief Compliance Officer and former Director of Sales Administration for Carefree Insurance Services, and Manager of Sales Administration at Humana Healthcare.

Dr. White has worked with the local US State Attorney’s office in implementing and teaching Thinking for a Change (T4C), a program designed to end prison recidivism, as well as The Courage to Change Interactive Journaling® System an evidence-based supervision/case management model developed in collaboration with several United States Probation Offices. She has mentored for the Alternative to Violence (AVP-Ft. Lauderdale/Miami) program; is a member of Broward County’s ReEntry Coalition; Broward County Human Trafficking Coalition; and Homeland Security Blue Campaign Homeland Security (The Blue Campaign is the unified voice for DHS’ efforts to combat human trafficking). She partners as a member of Miami-Dade Emergency Management C.O.R.E. (Communities Organized to Respond to Emergency) program, and FEMA in aiding communities during national disasters.

Cheryl is a freelance journalist for the Dania Beach Press and has been a keynote speaker for: The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS); FEMA’s May 2021 ADR Advisors meeting, FEMA’s 2021 Office of Chief Counsel (OCC) Annual Training Symposium (OATS ‘21) “Building Trust and Rapport from a Distance”; Title I Miami-Dade County Public Schools, and the Federal Correctional Institution, Reentry Affairs, Miami-Dade. Also, at Everglades Correctional Institution 2023 February Black History Month and at the graduation ceremony held in the chapel of the prison and the re-entry chapel with the graduate’s family in attendance.

Further, Dr. White is an active member of the Chambers of Commerce in Dania Beach, and a former Guardian ad Litem and has received a Congressional Recognition from Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a Florida Senator’s Proclamation from Senator Daphne Campbell, a Mayor’s Proclamation from Ashira Mohammed, Pembroke Park, and a Declaration of Services Rendered from the Florida Governor’s office. Moreover, she is the author of the book, “There Will Always Be Another Day”.
